From the return of beloved anime like My Hero Academia and new series that will likely take the world by storm like Kaiju No. 8, there’s a lot to be excited about in the next three months. Luckily, many of the biggest anime of 2024 are already scheduled to premiere in the spring, so Fans will surely be very excited about this season’s lineup.
10 Black Butler: Public school section

Nearly 14 years after the end of the second season and ten years after the release of Book of Circus and Book of Murder, Black Butler is returning by adapting the very popular Arc School. The studio behind Wonder Egg Priority and the award-winning Horimiya series, Cloverworks, will produce the project. The trailer looks very promising and the disappointment of waiting for a decade is gone as fans have high hopes for the series.
9 Konosuba Part 3

Fans have had to wait six long years for the return of one of the funniest series ever and the wait is now over. Konosuba will have a change in studio as the show will now be produced by Drive instead of Studio Deen, but the quality doesn’t seem to be lacking at all based on the videos shared by the project. 2024 will see the return of many beloved anime, and few have been as warmly received as Tsume Akatsuki’s light novel adaptation.
8 Times That I Reincarnated As A Slime Part 3

An epic battle is coming in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’s third season and fans should get involved. The past few seasons have solidified this anime as an isekai giant, competing with the biggest names like Overlord and Mushoku Tensei. Covering the Saints-Monsters Confrontation Arc, this season will see the battle between the two main factions and finally introduce some highly anticipated characters, such as Mariabel and Leonard.
7 Code Geass: Rozé recaptured

While it’s not confirmed whether Lelouch will return to the story or not, the new Code Geass movie will still be one to watch. Many of the staff who created masterpieces in the first 2 seasons will return to deliver another top-notch anime performance. With cool-looking new characters and smooth mechanical animations, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture will be a great addition to the franchise’s great catalog of contentfurther proving why the series deserves to be considered legendary.
6 Windbreakers

Another crime series is coming and it could be as big as Tokyo Revengers. Animated by CloverWorks, the studio behind Horimiya and Bochi The Rock!, the trailer has fans excited thanks to its high production quality. The story and main character are simple: Haruka Sakura is a battle fanatic who loves nothing more than fighting someone strong. He joins a high school of brutes and thugs who protect their town at all costs, but Haruka simply joins it to become the strongest. This action-packed series will be on everyone’s radar as it looks to become the next big thing in the crime genre.
5 Blue Keys: Nagi Practice

The sports series that has taken the world by storm will soon hit theaters as an adaptation of the original manga. The movie will follows one of the most interesting characters in the series, Nagi Seijuro, and how he became a soccer genius. His friend Reo will also be in the series, and their good friendship will be explored further in the anime. With part 2 about to take place, it is the right decision for the two boys to receive attention before continuing to steal the spotlight in the upcoming part.
4 Mushoku Tensei Part 2 Part 2

The series was praised as The godfather of modern isekai is set to return, and this season may be the most heartbreaking yet. This incredible fantasy series was one of the biggest anime series last year and it looks like it will continue to dominate the season again in 2024. With stunning animation and excellent characters, It’s easy to see why a studio was created just to do justice to the source material. Based on previous seasons, the anime will most likely be available on Crunchyroll.
3 Demon Slayer Part 4

Although the upcoming Hashira Training season won’t have as much action and violence as previous seasons, there’s still a lot to be excited about. The previous format saw one or two Hashira receive the spotlight in each season, but they will all return in the upcoming season. One worrying point is that the manga adaptation doesn’t have the full 12 episodes, so there will either be more original stories or the season will be much shorter, meaning the next season could come much sooner. More information will be revealed in due course, but one thing is certain fans should tune in to Demon Slayer when it airs.
2 Hero Academia Part 7

One of the biggest anime of all time is returning for its seventh season, and this special season will be the beginning of the end. This season is one of the most anticipated anime of the year, as has been the case for the past few years with its annual schedule. With the world building becoming more and more powerful by attracting heroes from all over the world, Star And Stripes, America’s number one hero, will make his long-awaited debut and help society Japan’s hero society from collapsing. An incredible battle between Shigaraki and All Might’s friends is about to happen, and now is a great time to follow the series as it enters its final story arc.

Few anime have as big a marketing campaign as Naoya Matsumoto’s hit animated series. As one of Shonen Jump’s most popular manga, the series already has a huge following, but buzz surrounding the anime project has increased interest in the series. This movie will be the first to be streamed on X/Twitter and they have recruited famous Western musicians to play the theme songs, much to the surprise of fans. Based on the trailers and information available, Kaiju No. 8 has the potential to be the biggest anime of 2023.
