Different from the promises of a “no-hack League of Legends” in the early days of its launch, “the stepdad Garena” is flooded with “tools, cheats, …” at the present time.
10 years ago, the game League of Legends was still “wet feet” entering the Vietnamese market. At that time, the moba game village was still “busy” in the servers of Dota, Dota 2, Smite as well as League of Legends.
But surprisingly, at that time, an extremely “immature” game like League of Legends had shocking claims to award 100 million VND to anyone who could hack the game:
A post on the League of Legends homepage in August 2012 confirms that Garena will reward “hackers” who can hack this game.
“Garena Vietnam has confirmed the information of awarding 100 million to anyone who can hack the game League of Legends.
Talking to Mr. Tri, nicknamed Panda – who is currently Garena’s League of Legends project leader, about the game’s plans in the Vietnamese market:
“I don’t think Vietnamese hackers have the SUPER qualified to do this. We are ready to give 100 million reward to any gamer who can hack in the Game of League of Legends during the Closed Beta phase of the game!”
League of Legends will soon be released in the second half of 2012 with a lot of interesting things. Currently, the team of Garena Vietnam is working hard to bring gamers a perfect online game product. I affirm that, with League of Legends, Vietnamese gamers will have the most different experience ever!” – Garena representative promised a moba game “no tool hack” 10 years ago.
Many individuals blatantly advertise hacking tool rentals on social networking platforms.
Back to the present, the game League of Legends is flooded with tools, hacks, cheats, … with a variety of different types and “prices”. Typically, “driver Sion” is a tool/hack that has been raging in League of Legends for many years. At its peak, dodging and using tools/hacks has become a sore point in ranked mode over the years.
In particular, many accounts blatantly use tools/hacks and livestream ads on Facebook, YouTube, etc. However, this problem has not been completely solved by Garena.
Recently, there are also rumors that Garena and Riot Games have “broken feelings” and the two will stop working together from the end of this year or early 2023. Accordingly, many gamers predict that Garena is about to return League of Legends to them. Riot Games should increasingly “neglect” this game compared to the same names as Free Fire or Lien Quan Mobile.
