A lot of information about the actors, pictures, and stories has also been revealed
Kodoani.com – Official website of Gekijōban Collar×Malice Deep Coverthe theatrical anime adaptation of the Otomate franchise’s Collar x Malice game, revealed on Sunday that the two films will hit theaters on May 26 and June 23, respectively.
The website also revealed two more actors. Kaede Hondo will voice the heroine Ichika Hoshino (not voiced in the original game) and Katsuyuki Konishi will voice an original character named Mitsuru Sowa (pictured below). Mai Hanamura drew the design for the new character, and also drew the new image above. Additionally, the staff revealed that the films will tell an origin story about “another incident” that took place on the “other side” of the X-Day Incident.
Studio DEEN is animating the film and Avex Pictures is distributing. Mai Hanamura is credited as the original character designer. Kizu will perform the song “Ningen×Shikkaku” (No Longer×Human).

Otomate originally released the Collar×Malice otome mystery visual novel in Japan in August 2016, and Aksys Games released the game in English in July 2017. Collar×Malice fan disc Unlimited — which includes a prologue, sequel, and three side stories — went on sale for the PlayStation Vita version in Japan in July 2018.
The Switch versions of both Collar×Malice and Collar×Malice Unlimited bundled together were released in Japan in March 2020. The English version of Collar×Malice Unlimited shipped in North America that same August. .
