Kodoani.com – Official website of the manga adaptation The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses (Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta) author Koume Fujichika posted the anime’s trailer on Monday. The video reveals the additional voice cast and will premiere on July 4.
The website also revealed a third main visual for the anime.

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 4 at 11:00 p.m. JST.
The anime will star Masahiro Itou as Kaede Komura and Shion Wakayama as Ai Mie.
Susumu Kudo is directing the anime at GoHands, and Katsumasa Yokomine is directing the series. Tamazo Yanagi is writing the script. Shingo Suzuki is the concept artist, Takayuki Uchida is the character designer and Hiroshi Okubo is the main animator. Animation directors include: Keiji Tani, Makoto Furuta, and Takayuki Uchida. Hisashi Muramatsu is the sound director at Glovision. Jimmy Thumb P is composing music at Flying Dog.
16-year-old singer Tsuzuri will debut with the opening track “NAME”. Shota Horie composed and arranged the song, while DECO*27 wrote the lyrics. Singer-songwriter Masayoshi Ōishi is teaming up with voice actor Masahiro Itou and voice actress Shion Wakayama to form a new unit called “Masayoshi ga Megane wo Wasureta.”. The group will perform the ending theme song “Megane Go Round.”
Komura starts her school year with a new neighbor in the homeroom class – Mie wears glasses. Before long, he has a crush on his classmate, who always forgets her glasses! While this might be ideal for Komura to get to know Mie better, will his poor heart stop beating from the daily stress of being so close and intimate with the girl he likes?!
Fujichika launched the manga in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine in November 2018.
