Winters’ Expansion gives gamers a third-person Resident Evil Village experience, and a brand new game for Rose Winters
Capcom has just released a new trailer and lots of information and images about the new DLC for Resident Evil Village called Winters’ Expansion. It will give gamers new characters to control, new levels, and some improvements to the game’s Mercenaries Additional Orders mode.
Specifically, when owning this DLC, gamers will be able to choose a new character, Lady Dimitrescu in The Mercenaries Additional Orders mode, where gamers need to face other monsters in the game. She has a unique mechanism called the Thrill gauge, which allows her to use unique moves or summon daughters. Two other characters also participating in this mode are Lord Karl Heisenberg and Chris Redfield, each with their own special skills.
The Winters’ Expansion expansion will also give gamers the chance to experience all of the single-player content from a third-person perspective, and a brand new storyline for the Winters daughter Rose Winters. The events in this new storyline take place 16 years after the end of Resident Evil Village, so the village will have a lot of changes compared to the original version.
Resident Evil Village: Winters’ Expansion is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X.
