Kodoani.com – Shueisha’s Manga Mee app publishes manga final chapter GALS by Mihona Fujii!! (with two exclamation points) manga sequel on Monday.
Fujii launched the manga sequel in Manga Mee in November 2019. Shueisha published the manga’s fourth volume on February 25.
Fujii serialized manga GALS! (with an exclamation point) in Shueisha’s Ribon magazine from 1998 to 2002, and Shueisha published 10 compiled book volumes for the manga. CMX Manga published all 10 volumes in English, and it describes the first volume of the manga:
Self-styled Kogal queen Kotobuki Ran and her friends just want to have fun, which includes shopping, hanging out, and scamming gullibles’ meals. Unfortunately, their ‘hoods’ – Shibuya – are frequently in danger of being taken over by dirty old men, street gangs, nasty Kogal rivals and other social evils. But with a little help from friends and the toughness born of a family full of cops, Ran fights off the bad guys (and the girls) with gusto!
The manga inspired the 52-episode Super GALS television anime!, which premiered in 2001.
