Kodoani.com – Official Twitter account for manga The Vampire Dies in No Time (Kyūketsuki Sugu Shinu) of Itaru Bonnoki announced on Monday that the manga will extend its current hiatus “for a while” due to Bonnoki’s poor physical condition. Akira Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine will announce the manga’s return when it is decided.
The manga went on a one-month hiatus from March 30 to April 27, and was originally scheduled to resume on May 11.
Manga creator Itaru Bonnoki announced on his official Twitter account on April 26 that he will be taking a break from work to rest for a while, adding that he will be back “when his stomach is full.” [của anh ấy] be healed and [anh ấy] can eat a Burger King. Bastard.”
The manga has been on hiatus several times over the past few years, some of them due to Bonnoki’s health.
Bonnoki launched The Vampire Dies in No Time (Kyūketsuki Sugu Shinu) manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in June 2015. Akita Shoten will publish the manga’s 25th volume on May 8.
The first season of the anime adaptation premiered in Japan in October 2021. The first season has 12 episodes. The second season premiered on January 9.
The manga is having a “super casual game” app temporarily called Sugu Shinu! (Die Instantly!) for iOS and Android in 2023. The game app will also be released in English overseas.
Bonnoki and Nata Ōkura recently launched a manga adaptation of Xemono’s Needy Streamer Overload game titled Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick (the manga using the game’s original Japanese title) on the Manga website Cross by Akita Shoten on March 21.
There is no announcement on whether the Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick manga will also be on hiatus.
