Kodoani.com – If you signed up for a Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pack membership, you’ll soon enjoy a classic game in the series Fire Emblem. Originally released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance and also known as Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, the 20-year-old GBA Fire Emblem will be available on the service on June 22.
Fire Emblem on GBA is the first entry in the series out of Japan, introducing the world to the hero Lyn.
In Fire Emblem, the nation of Lycia stands on the brink of war after centuries of peace. Anarchy grows as aristocrats plot treason, allies become enemies and armies readied for battle… all while a mysterious figure manipulates empires from the shadows. Now, Lyn, along with Eliwood and Hector, must assemble an army of their own to fight the forces that will destroy everything they hold dear — and before the world burns to ashes.
Throughout the story, you’ll rally heroes to your side, train them to excel with a variety of weapons and classes, and hone their skills on the battlefield. In battle, strategize your course of action across a variety of terrains and conditions. Then take command of the battlefield and lead your units to victory by completing specific objectives. But note: In this Fire Emblem game, if your soldiers meet the end, they will be gone forever.
