The manga has been serialized in Monthly Big Gangan magazine since 2014. Since then, the manga has collected a total of 14 volumes that can be purchased from e-commerce websites.
Meanwhile, the upcoming anime adaptation of the series was announced a year ago in January 2023. This anime is being produced by Staple Entertainment, the company known for a total of four anime series that they has produced to date, including an original animated film.
Meanwhile, the anime will be directed by Takashi Naoya, whose recent works include the Vermil in Gold anime released last year. Judging from the production team of the anime series, we weren’t expecting much from the anime but a decent anime adaptation.
Last but not least, we can expect the anime to follow a seasonal schedule with a total of 11-12 episodes. The plot of the upcoming Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari will revolve around Satou, a high school student who falls in love with his best friend Hime, who has extraordinary beauty because she is literally from another planet.
When Hime returned to her home planet to get married, Satou followed her to crash the wedding and became her groom when he kissed her. However, Hime is the Ring Princess and since Satou is her husband, he will be the Ring King, a hero with great power.

Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari Volume 1 will be released on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 9:30 p.m. Japan Standard Time. The following are different times that are the same;
