Kodoani.com – Manga creator Tsuyoshi Takaki announced on his personal Twitter account on Saturday that the manga “Heart Gear” will resume publication on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service on Wednesday, marking its return one year after the service’s hiatus.
The manga’s 39th and latest chapter was released in December 2022, and it was announced that the manga would be on hiatus. The announcement did not reveal when the manga will return.
The “Heart Gear” manga first appeared on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in March 2019. The manga’s fourth volume was released in Japan in August 2022.
Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is publishing the manga in English and describes the story as follows:
“In a ruined world, human girl Lu and robot Zet live a humble life. Then one day, they encounter a mysterious new droid, Chrome… Now the three of them live together together like a family, but then…”
Tsuyoshi Takaki previously launched the “Black Torch” manga in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine in December 2016 and ended it in 2018. The fifth and final volume of the manga was published in August 2018 by Shueisha. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English and released the final volume in August 2019.
