Summarize

Edith was confused and told him that he should find his own clothes too. She asked the tailor to bring a pair that matched her dress and they left the store after purchasing.
Killeon thinks they made the decision too soon and that Edith should have tried on more dresses, but she convinced him and said it was perfect. She says that he has a good eye for things, which makes Killeon blush and respond, saying that people often tell him that he has a knack for things like this.
Their next stop is a shoe store, where Killeon requests two pairs of boots and shoes for the trip to Ryzen. Edith thought that was a bit excessive, but was easily convinced when Killeon talked about cold winters and horseback riding. He asked the store owner to bring an extra pair because he believed he needed more.

After finishing their shopping, Killeon and Edith went to the cafe to drink tea and eat cake. Killeon noticed that Edith liked strawberry tea so he took her there and she loved the place despite the fact that it was a bit noisy for her.
While Killeon and Edith are enjoying tea, they are interrupted by a group of older women nearby who are discussing their relationship. They were talking about Edith and how she had both Rudwick brothers wrapped in the palm of her hand.
They also began to question the decision of the duke and his wife to allow their “illegitimate child” to become a duchess. Listening to them, Edith walked over and gently threatened them, warning them not to spread any more rumors like this.
The chapter ends with Killeon laughing at the whole event, which confuses Edith because she has just returned from confronting a group of people gossiping about their situation.
