Manga focusing on heroes who unofficially defend their city district launched in 2016
Kodoani.com – The latest chapter of the manga by writer duo Hideyuki Furuhashi and artist Betten Court is My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app revealed on Saturday that the manga will end in the next chapter on May 28.
Furuhashi and Court launched the manga in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump GIGA magazine in August 2016. The manga was re-released in Shonen Jump+ in December 2016.
The manga is a spin-off of Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga. The spin-off takes place before the start of the main manga.
Koichi Haimawari can’t become a full-fledged hero, so he uses his humble Quirk to do good deeds in his spare time. Then one day, a fateful encounter with some local thugs leads him to the group with two other unlikely heroes. None of them really knew what they were doing, but they had the courage – or the stupidity – to try. But they soon discover that fighting evil is more than just bravery…
Shueisha published the manga’s 14th volume in Japan on May 2.
