Hunter x Hunter's official creator, Yoshihiro Togashi, has been ever-present on social media, revealing some surprising crossover artwork with the legendary magical girl manga Sailor Moon.
Togashi has once again garnered widespread attention on social media with his latest artwork posted on X (formerly Twitter). Titled “Piririn♪piririn♪,” his new color illustration features Hunter x Hunter protagonist Gon Freecss, along with the five Sailor Guardians from the iconic manga Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, pictured below. The new sketch is made all the more special by his decades-long marriage to Sailor Moon author Naoko Takeuchi, since 1999. Little is known about their private lives; While Togashi is occasionally spotted at his mother's paper shop in Yamagata, both choose to communicate with fans primarily through their artwork.
