A recent Genshin Impact leak seems to have revealed two five-star weapons that will be featured on the first banner for the upcoming 2.5 update.
Kodoani.com – Weapons are one of the main parts of the character building process along with the holy relics. Choosing the right weapon can make a huge difference in the amount of damage a DPS character can deliver. A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed which five-star weapon will be featured on the upcoming 2.5 update. One of the leakers Genshin Impact The most reliable, Tangzhu, has apparently confirmed that two five-star weapons are coming in the first banner cycle: Primordial Jade Cutter and Kagura’s Verity.
Primordial Jade Cutter is an S-rank weapon, as it deals high damage due to its secondary stat, which is Crit Rate. This weapon can be very suitable for characters who use DPS and secondary DPS swords like Albedo, Ayaka, Bennet or Jean. The weapon also has a HP-boosting passive and a significant Attack, which is suitable for most DPS characters.
Kagura’s Verity will be a brand new signature weapon for the upcoming Genshin Impact character Yae Miko. She was officially confirmed by miHoYo through her official social media accounts. Yae Miko is expected to be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, with a great extra DPS ability. Previous leaks have revealed the main stats of the weapon:
Weapon Type: Magic Weapon
Basic Attack: 46-608
Secondary Stats (Bloody Damage) 14.4% – 66.2%
Passive: Weapon wielders gain the effect of Kagura Dance when using an Elemental Skill, increasing the weapon’s skill damage by 12-24% for 12 seconds. This effect has three stacks and the character will gain 12% bonus elemental damage when possessing 3 stacks
Yae Miko is likely to arrive with another double banner rerun featuring two popular characters, Raiden Shogun and Kokomi. Raiden Shogun has become one of, if not the most popular characters in the game, and she currently holds the record for most rolled character on a single banner. Her biggest draw is probably that she’s probably the most playable friendly five-star character in Genshin Impact since she’s the top level support even without any zodiac sign.
Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, PS5 and mobile devices. The Switch version is currently in development.
