Anime is a romantic story about a deaf girl and a guy who is fluent in many languages
Kodoani.com – A Sign of Affection (Yugisaki to Renren) will soon be breaking down the walls between languages, as an anime adaptation of Su Morishita’s romance manga about a deaf girl and a multilingual was announced. A trailer and teaser image have been revealed, along with details on the cast and staff for the January 2024 premiere.
A commemorative illustration by mangaka Su Morishita was also released.
The main voice cast of the anime is as follows:
Yuki Itose voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Fumino from Skip and Loafer)
Itsuomi Nagi voiced by Yu Miyazaki (Quartz from I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss)
Based on the manga by Su Morishita (Like a Butterfly), A Sign of Affection is being directed by Yuta Murano (Kakushigoto) at studio Ajiado, with composition by Yoko Yonaiyama (Ya Boy Kongming), character designs by Kasumi Sakai and music by Yukari Hashimoto.
Yuki is a typical college student, her world centered around friends, social media, and the latest sales. But when a chance encounter on a train leads to her meeting a friend’s friend and classmate Itsuomi-san, her world begins to expand. But although Itsuomi-kun can speak three languages, sign language is not one of them. Can the two learn to communicate the budding emotions between them?
