In the previous Chapter of Absolute Necromancer, the fight between Vulcan and Hendric ended after Vulcan temporarily trapped Hendric to prevent him from moving around. Vulcan rushed to end the fight because he knew he would lose if the fight continued.
Vulcan decided to disappear before Hendric gained the ability to move, especially since he had exhausted the mana and soul that Father Jinhyuk had given him. When Vulcan disappeared, Hendric was released from the bondage, and he was both furious and ecstatic at the prospect of fighting Vulcan again.
