Ninja Kamui, Adult Swim’s upcoming anime series, has released a new trailer following the announcement that it will air in both subtitled and English dub formats on Cartoon Network, beginning and ending its Toonami programming block. during the day.
A new trailer for the mature-rated anime series was recently released via Adult Swim’s official YouTube channel. The nearly two-minute trailer, set to “Color Me Blood” by Carpenter Brut, highlights the extreme level of action and violence of Ninja Kamui, while also teasing the revenge plot of former ninja Joe Higan returning to the battlefield after the massacre of his family. Sunghoo Park, the anime director behind The God of High School and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, will direct the new Toonami series. Takashi Okazaki, author and artist of the manga Afro Samurai, was named as the character designer for the series.

Ninja Kamui is just one of many new anime projects that Adult Swim has funded on its Toonami block. An anime adaptation of Junji Ito’s horror series, Uzumaki, is also scheduled to premiere in 2024. Both shows will air on Adult Swim in the coming months.
