Akane-Banashi Chapter 46: Release Date & Spoiler

Akane sees this happening to her dear father, whom she idolizes, and she has to do something about it. Written by Suenaga Yuuki and with art by Moue Takamasa, this is the story of a daughter fighting for her father when he is shattered by a harsh world.

The manga revolves around the theme of the Performing Arts, specifically Rakugo, and its serialization has been done by Weekly Shonen Jump. It was first published on February 14, 2022, and the series is still ongoing. There are currently four tankobon volumes of the chapters.

The story goes like this. Akane Osaki’s father is a Rakugo performer and he is very passionate about his work. Akane loved nothing more than to see her father perform. She was mesmerized by every slight change in tone, each variation of pitch and the humorous or emotional lines of the art, all masterfully executed by her father.

And Tooru’s biggest dream is to achieve the highest rank in Rakugo, and to achieve that, he must pass the promotion test. For the test, he had to perform in front of a live audience and a judge, a master in the arts. Tooru attended the test and performed at his best.

However, despite his brilliant and brilliant performance, he was expelled from Rakugo School. This was a heavy blow to Tooru, and it caused him to give up the arts altogether. Heartbroken but accepting his fate, he started a normal job.

Akane, her father’s biggest fan, remembered this and was deeply saddened. But she didn’t mope around. Instead, she teaches the school and Issho Arakawa (Master at the contest) the beauty of her father’s Rakugo style.

So she went to her father’s Rakugo instructor and begged him to teach her the art. However, the owner put her to the test and asked her to perform in front of an audience to see if she had a gift for Rakugo.

Master Urara informed Akane that she had only three more chances to master the story taught to her. Akane must be ready for Rokuro’s event. Back home, her friends ask her how she’s mastered only five stories despite following the master for seven years.

She replied that she remembered other stories and that she wanted to become a Futatsume. But to be one, she must have fifty stories under her belt. She says that she doesn’t want to be any Rakugoka, but she wants to be the Shin’uchi of Arakawa High.

Her friend asks her if she can be a good Oiran, but he doesn’t have much hope of her. They told her to keep trying as best she could. In the next scene, Risa helps her dress up as Oiran, and she goes to Urara to do the trick. But Urara found fault in his amateur performance.

In the next class, even though she did her research, she couldn’t improve her performance much and wondered what more she could do. An idea came to her and she decided to date her old friend Ozaki because she couldn’t ask anyone else.
