Kodoani.com – Hobby Japan's Fire CROSS manga website launched a Queen's Blade spinoff manga, a color vertical scrolling manga titled Nanashi no Tensei (Nanashi's Reincarnation) on Monday. Akira Hizuki and Minmi Tachibana are drawing the manga, and Hobby Japan is credited with the original work. This new spinoff manga is part of the Queen's Blade franchise's 20th anniversary project in 2025.
The spin-off manga revolves around Nanako Tadano, an office worker who died from overwork and was reincarnated as Nanashi in another world similar to her favorite anime, Queen's Blade Legend. Nanashi accidentally frees a legendary monster and becomes a beautiful warrior with the strongest skills. But in the world of beautiful warriors, where everything is decided by harsh duels, Nanashi decided to hide her great power and only watch the great duels between her favorite characters.
The spin-off manga is based on the Queen's Blade Unlimited anime, but characters from other series also make cameo appearances in the manga.
Queen's Blade Unlimited, the series' latest anime, released its first episode in 2018 and its second episode in 2020.
The first Queen's Blade anime adaptation of Hobby Japan's fighting picture book series based on the game Lost Worlds debuted in 2009. Since then, the franchise has inspired two additional television anime and numerous anime videos, original manga and novels.
