Vietnam, April 27, 2023 – Garena officially announced the start of the leading international tournament Arena of Valor Premier League (APL) 2023 from June 9 to July 23. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the dramatic competition live when the best teams gather in Bangkok – the city that has successfully hosted the AIC 2019 international Mobile Alliance tournament.
With the official message of APL 2023 – “Echo of Glory” – Garena looks forward to a stage where fans and professional players can share a vibrant, bustling atmosphere with loud cheers. for the winners. Fans can also witness the growth of their favorite Lien Quan Mobile players as they pass each round and prove themselves to be the best fighters in the international arena.
This year’s APL 2023 tournament also marks the return of the Selection round. Accordingly, a domestic tournament can have up to 4 or more representatives participating in the Group Stage, for AOG – Vietnam, the total number of representatives can be up to 5 teams. Besides, on the closing day of the tournament 23/07, Lien Quan Mobile players can look forward to the Lien Quan festival with a series of interesting events and attractive gifts, along with the launch of the League of Legends. APL 2023 schedule and format
APL 2023 will start with a Selection round held online for 3 days from June 9 to June 11. The eight teams participating in this round include the 4th and 5th seeds of GCS – Chinese Taipei, RPL – Thailand, AOG – Vietnam, and the two 3rd and 4th seeds of ASL – Indonesia. Within three days, eight teams will compete for three spots in the 2023 APL Group Stage.
Eligible teams will travel to Bangkok, Thailand to compete in the Group Stage from June 28 to July 9. The group stage will be played in a round-robin format, consisting of 14 teams, with the three seeded teams from the Selection round, the three best teams from GCS, RPL and AOG along with the two strongest teams of ASL.The teams will be divided into 2 groups, each group consists of 7 teams and the top 4 teams in each group will advance to the Quarter Finals, which will take place from June 13 to June 16. During this period, 8 teams will compete in the format of the winning bracket to win 4 places to reach the Semi-finals.
The audience can fully expect the thrilling matches, culminating in the semi-finals that will take place from July 22 to July 23 before coming to the Finals held on the same day on July 23. The Semi-Finals will be played in a win-lose format, while the Finals will use a knockout to determine the champion of the tournament.
The draw ceremony for the Selection round will be broadcast live on May 14 on the official channels of Lien Quan Mobile including Fan page of Lien Quan Master, Youtube of Lien Quan Master and AOV TV right after the final match. The Spring of Fame 2023 ends. After that, the audience can watch the draw for the Group Stage taking place on June 11 when the official selection results are announced.
