Kodoani.com – Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana, Spin Master and TMS Entertainment announced on Friday that the anime Background: Evolutions will premiere in Japan on April 1. The company also revealed a new voice cast and main song.
The newly announced voice cast includes:
Rei Mochizuki as Athena Monde
Taku Yashiro as Blitz Fox, partner of Athena Bakugan
Rie Takahashi and Shunsuke Takeuchi will perform the opening theme song “PLANET HERO” voicing their characters Dan and Dragonoid. Serena Kōzuki will return from Bakugan: Geogan Rising to perform the Ending song “BAKU! WAKU! Evolutions.”
The anime began airing in Canada on Teletoon and streaming on STackTV and Amazon Prime on February 6.
The anime will have 26 episodes. Each episode will be 22 minutes long. The anime will be the fourth season of the series starting with Bakugan Battle Planet.
