Actor returns to fully adapt 1st year student arcs with songs by ZAQ, Mai Fuchigami
Kodoani.com – A special broadcast for anime Classroom of the Elite of Syougo Kinugasa (Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e), debuted a new promotional video and a new visual on Sunday. The video reveals that the announced sequel is actually two more seasons set to air in July 2022 and sometime in 2023 with the cast returning. The cast added that the anime will adapt the original story as a freshman.
The directors of the first season Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto will return as main directors, with Yoshihito Nishōji as director at Lerche.
Hayato Kazano is currently supervising the series’ script, and Kazuaki Morita returns to design the characters. Ryō Takahashi will also return to compose music, along with Kana Hashiguchi.
Satoki Iida is directing the sound.
Singer ZAQ appeared on the special to announce that she will be returning from the first season to perform the opening theme song. Mai Fuchigami also appeared to announce that she would be singing Ending.
Light Novel illustrator Shunsaku Tomose drew the previous image above to celebrate the sequel news, and the staff decorated a cake with the image for the special Sunday.
