Kodoani.com – Anime adapted from manga AND DA AND by Yukinobu Tatsu will officially release the second part on July 2025and Crunchyroll will stream the new season. The first season of the anime, consisting of 12 episodes, will end with the final episode airing this Friday. The film debuted in Japan on October 3 on TBS and MBS's Super Animeism TURBO programming block, and is also streamed globally on Netflix.
AND DA AND is a story that combines elements of mystery, romantic comedy and action-adventure. Anime follows Momoa high school girl from a spiritual family, and Okaruna person who is passionate about supernatural phenomena. After a humorous argument about the existence of ghosts and aliens, the two decide to test their beliefs by exploring mysterious locations. However, the two suddenly encounter supernatural phenomena that go beyond their imagination, leading to thrilling adventures and awakening their hidden powers.
The first part of the anime was made by Science SARUwith the direction of the director Fūga Yamashiro and script by Hiroshi Seko pen. The soundtrack was composed by Kensuke Ushioand the character design belongs to Naoyuki Ondawhile designing supernatural entities and aliens by Yoshimichi Kameda in charge. The background music also stands out with the opening song “Otokone” by the hip-hop group Creepy Nuts performance and ending song “TAIDADA” by ZUTOMAYO.
Original manga AND DA ANDpublished on Shonen Jump+, has gained strong traction with 18 volumes scheduled to be released on January 4. In the US, Viz Media publishes the English version, with the 10th volume released on April 1 December 19. Previously, the special screening of DAN DA DAN: First Encounter in US theaters in September earned more than 1 million USD, affirming the appeal of this brand globally.
With a combination of action, humor, and a unique emotional story, AND DA AND promises to continue to conquer the audience when part two airs.
