Kodoani.com – Anime official Twitter account Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san (Detective Conan: The Hanzawa culprit) announced on Tuesday that the anime will premiere worldwide outside of Japan on Netflix on February 1.
The anime premiered on Tokyo MX and Yomiuri TV channels on October 3, and premiered on BS NTV and on Netflix worldwide on October 4.
Shōta Aoi plays the main character Hanzawa-san. Inori Minase plays Hanzawa’s pet Pometarō. Megumi Hayashibara and Rikiya Koyama take on the roles of Ai Haibara and Kogorō Mōri, respectively. Akira Ishida plays Saguru Hakuba in the anime. Junya Enoki plays Tsutomu Hanbayashi. Other returning cast members include Naoko Matsui as Sonoko Suzuki, Kenichi Ogata as Professor Agasa, Wataru Takagi as Genta Kojima, Ikue Ōtani as Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya, Yukiko Iwai as Ayumi Yoshida, Chafurin as Jūzō Megure, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Harufumi Mogi, Emi Shinohara as Ikumi Soda and Minoru Inaba as Shukujiro Ogami.
Detective Conan: Hannin no Hanzawa-san by Mayuko Kanba is a comedy manga series starring shadowy “criminals” who appear in the Detective Conan chapters to represent mysterious perpetrators. The manga launched in Shōnen Sunday S magazine in May 2017. Shogakukan published the manga’s seventh volume in Japan on September 15.
Gosho Aoyama’s Detective Conan manga also got a recent anime adaptation of a spinoff manga, Detective Conan: Zero no Tea Time by Takahiro Arai. The anime premiered in April and concluded with its sixth episode in May. Netflix released the anime worldwide outside of Japan in July.
