Kodoani.com – The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the manga Hoshikuzu Telepath (Stardust Telepath) author Rasuko Ōkuma revealed the two main cast members of the anime on Thursday. The main voice seiyus are:
Yurie Funato as Umika Konohoshi
Seria Fukagawa as Yū Akeuchi
The anime will premiere in 2023.
Kaori (Yuyushiki, The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi. Kaori and Natsuko Takahashi (Yuyushiki, Comic Girls) are in charge of the series scripts. Takahiro Sakai (Yuki Yuna Is a Hero) is designing the characters and is also the chief visual officer.
The story is about a shy girl named Umika who is afraid to talk to others and has trouble making friends. One day, a transfer student named Yuu appeared. As it turns out, she is an alien who can read other people’s emotions by encountering them.
The 4 koma manga launched in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine in May 2019 and began serialization in July of that year. Houbunsha published the manga’s third compiled book volume in October 2022.
The manga was nominated for Best Print Manga in the seventh “Next Manga Awards” (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2021.
