Production Information and Intriguing Storyline
The anime series is adapted from the light novel of the same name by Uenami Kosuke and Super Zombie. Director Katsumi Ono (who directed Skeleton Knight in Another World) will take on the role of director studio BN Pictures. The script was written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (author Shangri-La Frontier), character design by Masakazu Yamazaki undertaken, and the music was composed by Go Coupling

The anime follows the journey of Yuke, a powerful red mage who was once a member of the group Thunder Pike Grade A. When he left the group because he was looked down upon by the other members, he happened to meet his former students, Marina, Silk and Rain. Together they form a group Clover. With respect from his students, Yuke decided to lead them through harsh challenges in dungeons full of dangers, bringing out his full potential and that of his students.
Clover's journey is not only a journey to conquer dungeons but also a fight against a force of chaos that threatens the whole world. Their ultimate goal is Achromatic Darkness – the darkest and most challenging dungeon.
