Anime Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki revealed the premiere date of June 17

Toshiyuki Morikawa, Makoto Furukawa, many members of the voice cast

Kodoani.com – Official website for the theatrical anime (OVA) adaptation of the novel Kaitō Queen wa Circus ga Osuki (Mirage Queen Aime Cirque) revealed on Tuesday that the anime will open in theaters on June 17. The website also revealed 13 more details. Voiceover and a new visual.

The new cast includes:

Toshiyuki Morikawa as White Face

Makoto Furukawa as Shamon Saitō

Yuri Noguchi as Silver Cat Hitomi

Hinata Tadokoro as Jean Paul

Yusuke Shirai as Styli Inoue

Natsu Yorita voiced the beast

Hironori Kondou as Prism Prism

Hiromichi Tezuka as Joe Sesame

Shinya Takahashi as Rocketman

Yūya Hirose as Kōtarō Nishitōji

Ayaka Shimizu as Mari Itō

Jin Urayama as Inspector Kamikoshi

Kent Itō as Shintarō Iwashimizu

Yūga Yamato as the Queen

Kazuki Katou as Joker

Yūma Uchida as RD

Saori Den is directing the project at East Fish Studio, and Mariko Kunisawa is writing the script.

Kumiko Kawashima is designing the characters.

Moe Hyūga will be composing the music.

Toshiki Kameyama is the sound director of Bit Groove Promotion.

Pony Canyon will distribute the anime.

The story revolves around the Phantom Thief Queen, a person who can steal anything they want. Their gender, age and nationality are unknown. Together with their partners Joker and RD, they fly around the world in their airship. Now, the Queen has her eyes on a cursed jewel: the legendary “Rose of Linden”. However, an unexpected incident occurred, and a mysterious circus troupe stole the jewel before Queen could arrive. Queen will challenge different members of the crew, including a hypnotist, a magician and an acrobat, to retrieve the jewel. For the Queen nothing is impossible.

Anime celebrates the 20th anniversary of the novel series. Kadokawa published the first novel under her children’s label Aoitori Bunko in March 2002 with illustrations by K2 Shōkai. The latest novel was published on July 14. The project marks the franchise’s first time making a video adaptation. The anime has the same title as the novel.
