Meika Tokyo’s adaptation Chita Tsurushima premieres on March 7
Kodoani.com – Webtoon adaptation of the anime series Metallic Rouge has been announced and will launch on March 7, according to the official LINE Manga app account on Twitter. Artists Meika Tokyo and Chita Tsurushima drew the webtoon and were also responsible for production.
The anime “Metallic Rouge” premiered on January 10 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block, and Crunchyroll streams the series worldwide except Asia where it airs in Japan.

Motonobu Hori is directing the anime at BONES, with Yutaka Izubuchi serving as director and mechanical designer. Toshizo Nemoto wrote the script, Toshihiro Kawamoto designed the characters, and Taisei Iwasaki composed the music with Yuma Yamaguchi and Towa Tei.
“Metallic Rouge” belongs to the “tech noir” genre and takes place in a world where humans and robots coexist. The story revolves around Rouge and Naomi, robots and humans who team up to destroy the Immortal Nine, a group of nine artificial humans opposed to the government.
