The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Fujitaka’s light novels is My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered (Sokushi Cheat ga Saikyōsugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga marude Aite ni Naranain Desu ga.) streamed a new promotional video for the anime. The video reveals that the anime will premiere in January next year.
Masakazu Hishida (Fairy Ranmaru, Ensemble Stars!, KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm) is directing the anime at studio Okuru to Noboru. Jou Aoba (pseudonym Hishida) is the screenwriter of the anime. Sayuri Sakimoto (Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OAV 5/2020) is designing the characters. Musicians in the anime include: Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Daisuke Kadowaki.

Plot:
Waking up in the midst of chaos during a school field trip, Yogiri Takatou discovers that everyone in his class has been transported to another world! Worse still, he and another classmate were abandoned by their friends as bait to distract a nearby dragon. Even though he wasn’t too concerned with life, he still decided to protect his lone companion.
