Kodoani.com – Main website of NieR:Automata Ver 1.1athe television anime adaptation of Square Enix and Platinum Games’ NieR:Automata action RPG game, revealed on Friday that the anime will continue to air episodes 9-12 at the same time on July 23. the final episode will air on Tokyo MX, BS11 and Tochigi TV on July 23 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and will air that evening on Gunma TV.
The anime premiered on January 7. The staff delayed episode 4 from January 28 to February 18. The anime production committee cited COVID-19 as the reason for that delay.
The staff then delayed the 9th and subsequent episodes to March, citing the effect of the increase in COVID-19 infections on the production schedule.

Ryouji Masuyama is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures, and Masuyama is also composing the series along with Yokō Tarō of the original game. Jun Nakai is designing the characters and is the animation director. MONACA is composing music.
