Shizuka Kudou performs the ending theme song “Maru” for the upcoming movie releasing on April 1
Kodoani.com – NHK revealed on Monday that singer Shizuka Kudou will perform the new ending theme “Maru” for the anime's 27th film. Ojarumaru (Prince Mackaroo). Yōhei Hashiguchi of the rock band wacci wrote and composed the song. NHK Anime has also pre-posted the video of the new ending theme.

The drama's 27th series is scheduled to premiere on April 1. Meanwhile, the 26th series premiered in April 2023, with the five-episode “Genji Series” focusing on the classic story Japan “Genji Monogatari” by Murasaki Shikibu, from November 8 to December 6.
The Ojarumaru series focuses on a Heian period prince who travels to the world of Enma and steals King Enma's scepter. He escapes and accidentally ends up in the present time, in Moonlight Town. Ojarumaru befriends the townspeople as he escapes the henchmen King Enma sent to retrieve his scepter.
Series Ojarumaru originally a manga series by Rin Inumaru serialized in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine. The anime debuted in 1998 and inspired a live-action special in 2017.
