The anime adaptation is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Egumi Sora. The manga began serialization on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website in January 2020 and currently has eight volumes in circulation. The romantic comedy tells the story of Teruaki Nakamura, who moves from Tokyo to Okinawa. There, he found a girl he liked named Hina Kyan. But Teruaki is having trouble understanding Hina’s Okinawan dialect. Kana Higa, Hina’s friend, helps Teruaki by translating the dialect for him. But he didn’t know that Kana had secret feelings for him.
