In its fifth week, the song recorded 25,632,534 weekly streams and peaked at #1 in Oricon’s latest weekly broadcast chart. The cumulative amount of steam has reached 107,713,480. This is YOASOBI’s 13th song to surpass 100 million streams and the two-member unit has become the artist with the most songs surpassing 100 million streams.
YOASOBI’s official Twitter wrote: “‘Idol’ has surpassed 100 million streams at the fastest speed in history.
