Kodoani.com – Elda isn’t the only leprechaun in town! Latest news fromOtaku Elf introduces another elf from another world and her shrine maiden.
Joining the voice cast of the spring anime series are:
Rie Kugimiya (Kagura in Gintama) as Yord: a 622-year-old Dark ELF summoned to our world by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. She currently serves as a deity of the Hiromimi Shrine. Unlike Elda, she is active and travels a lot; however, she is a blind person.
Teru Ikuta (Futaba Isurugi in Revue Starlight) as Himawari Kohinata: The 15th shrine maiden of Hiromimi Shrine and Yord’s caretaker. Despite her cold exterior, she finds Yord’s childish personality very endearing and easy to pamper her.
Otaku Elf is being directed by Takefumi Anzai at studio C2C, with Shogo Yasukawa writing the series’ scripts, Takeshi Oda as character designer and animation director, and Akito Matsuda as composer.
Akihiko Higuchi’s manga series began in June 2019.
Koganei Koito plays a teenage shrine maiden at Takamimi Shrine, catering to her whim here: a centuries-old ELF who loves video games as much as hates going out to queue.
The Otaku Elf TV anime is currently streaming on HIDIVE.
