Kodoani.com – Before the sixth episode of the third season airs this weekend, the series will witness the culmination of the Kitauji High School concert band's hard work to date. Official website and account of Sound! Euphonium today released the 'Audition Start Arc' story image, painting a picture of determination among the club members.
Based on the novel by Ayano Takeda, Tatsuya Ishihara (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions) directed the third season of Sound! Euphonium at Kyoto Animation, with script by Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Superstar!!), character designs by Kazumi Ikeda and Shoko Ikeda and music by Akito Matsuda (Unnamed Memory).
Crunchyroll airs the series and describes the story as follows:
Spring of first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the middle school brass band, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she runs into Reina, her old classmate from high school. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club but Kumiko can't decide. She recalls her experience with Reina at a competition in middle school.
