The game features the original story, new characters and stories from the anime, game series
Kodoani.com – Taiwanese game company UserJoy announced on Friday that it is developing a mobile game based on The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki Northern WarTatsunoko Pro’s television anime of Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (Eiyū Densetsu Sen no) series.
The game will release next year and will feature an original story and new characters along with stories from the anime and series.

Hidekazu Sato is directing the anime. Mina Ōsawa designed the characters. Shōji Hara is credited as the original character designer. Mao Emura is in charge of verifying the anime story as well as composing the series along with Hideki Ryо̄ga. Singer Chisato Akita (MIT GATHERING) will perform the opening theme song “The story so far”.
The anime was originally announced as a global project with Taiwanese game company UserJoy (developer of Falcom’s works in Asia outside of Japan), Funimation, content fund SYOU, and production and programming company NADA anime plan.
The original game series depicts the story of Rean Schwarzer in a military academy in the Erebonian Empire, but the anime will have the story focus on the western part of the Zemurian continent based on the game.
