New voice cast revealed for upcoming fantasy light novel adaptation
Kodoani.com – Rivals and responsibilities are a total drag in new clip for anime The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess (known in Japan as Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon), an upcoming television anime based on a fantasy light novel series about an awakened female vampire who finds herself in a predicament.
A new cast has also been revealed for the series, including:
Memories of Sakuna is voiced by Manaka Iwami. Nelia Cunningham is voiced by Fairouz Ai. Karia Amatsu voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro
The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess original light novel was written by Kotei Kobayashi, illustrated by riichu, and published in Japan by SB Creative under their GA Bunko publisher.
Three years into a closed life, the vampire Terakomari Gandesblood (Komari for short), wakes up to find herself appointed Commander in the Royal Mulnite Army! The problem is, her new unit consists of only belligerent thugs who rebel against their superiors at the weakest sign. Although Komari comes from a line of equally powerful vampires, her refusal to drink blood has made her appear to be an insignificant person—thin, uncoordinated, and incompetent at work. Magic. With defeat going against her, will the help of her trusty (and somewhat enamored) maid Vill be enough to set this recluse on her way to blundering? ? Or will Komari regret the day she leaves her safe room?
A key visual for the upcoming TV anime The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess features the main character, Terakomari Gandesblood, sitting on a splendid throne while her maid Villhaze stands nearby.
TV anime The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess is directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa and animated by project No.9. The series is scheduled to air in Japan starting October 2023.
