The original “The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human” is a top-notch manga written by Ryosuke Haneda and illustrated by Anajiro, published in Japan under Futabasha's Monster Comics imprint. The television anime adaptation was directed by Norihiko Nagahama at studio A-CAT, with Touko Machida writing the script and Masami Sueoka designing the characters (based on KUMA's original designs), with KOHTA YAMAMOTO providing musical responsibility.
The important image of the film is the impressive presence of the main characters, standing in front of the stairs leading to the throne, where the Demon Lord often lies lazily.
The story revolves around Ike, known as “the strongest magician in the Demon Lord's army”, a powerful and mysterious character. His extraordinary strength has made enemies and allies alike fear him. But Ike's biggest secret, which he cannot share with anyone else, is: “”I'm really a human being.””
Ike's journey is a struggle between human ego and existence in a world of demons. While the leader of the demon army keeps his human nature a secret, can Ike maintain balance between these two distinct worlds? It will be a dramatic and mysterious story waiting for the audience to discover.
