All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability makes that impossible. But as soon as Fuuko hit the bottom, Andy wiped everything out— literally! Now, she becomes Andy’s reluctant test subject as he tries to find a way to trigger a bout of Bad luck big enough to kill him for good. However, when the two discover a secret organization is hunting them, Andy’s plan to die comes to a halt.
The anime will feature Moe Kahara as Fuuko Izumo, Yūichi Nakamura as Andy, Natsuki Hanae as Shen, and Kenji Nomura as Void.
Anime is reuniting the main staff of the Fire Force anime. Yuki Yase directs the anime at producer David. Hideyuki Morioka is designing the characters, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. TMS’ UNLIMITED PRODUCE is producing and planning the anime
Tozuka published the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump as a one-shot in January 2019, then launched a serialized version in the magazine in January 2020. Shueisha published volume 14 on December 2. .
Manga ranked 14th on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Comic book list 2021 for male readers. The manga also won the sixth “Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō” (promising manga award) in August 2020.
The manga adaptation of a novel was published on February 3.
