Vinland Saga season 2 will premiere in January 2023, and the anime’s official Twitter account has shared the character design of Olmar, who will have a ‘important’ role in the next season. Yu Hayashi is voicing the character, and you can also see him in the latest trailer:

Director Shuhei Yabuta appreciated his importance in the story, saying that he will grow up a lot. Character designer and animation director Abiru Takahiko also commented, saying that he enjoyed drawing the character and felt less pressure than some other characters. Shuhei Yabuta said that the anime’s production staff will return to animate the sequel at studio MAPPA, and that the staff for season 1 include:
