Kodoani.com – Suiseisha officially announced on Friday that the adult manga “Modaete yo, Adam-kun” Toyo will have the anime adaptation AnimeFesta (formerly Anime Zone and ComicFesta Anime). The project will be directed by Hiyūta Konno, while Yoshihiro Watanabe (who has participated in famous projects such as “The Testament of Sister New Devil” and “Haganai”) will handle the character designs.
The story of the anime is set in a world facing a pandemic that causes men around the world to suffer from erectile dysfunction. Kazuki, a male high school student, is one of the few people still facing this challenge. The story revolves around his life in a new world, with the appearance of special characters such as a kind senpai, a horny teacher, and a handsome girl who is the school’s prince.
Toyo began publishing the manga digitally in November 2022, and Suiseisha will publish two compilation volumes of the manga simultaneously on January 18, 2024.
This isn’t the first time a Toyo work has inspired AnimeFesta. Previously, the manga “Asoko Araiya no Shigoto: Kataomoi Chū no Aitsu” served as the basis for the anime “Backwasher! -Her and I, in the Women’s Bath!?-” during the AnimeFesta event in 2019.
WWWave Corporation, owner of the web manga service ComicFesta, also hosts AnimeFesta. Over the past 6 years, AnimeFesta has produced more than 25 short anime adaptations of ComicFesta manga, with many works of an adult or 18+ nature.
Fans have known AnimeFesta through works such as “On a Lustful Night Mingling with a Priest” and “Secret Mission”. The diversity and creativity of AnimeFesta’s projects have created a rich atmosphere for viewers, with “broadcast” and “premium” versions to meet diverse audience needs.
