The previous chapter showed that the seniors and family members were impressed with Tian Jian’s swordsmanship. However, the impression did not last long, as they felt that Tian Jian had joined the Oriental clan to spy on them and send information about his original clan.

Summary of the previous chapter!

Apothesis Chapter 1016 sees the various clans of the alliance having reached the point where they must go to the Abyss Demon Region. Fang Hen Shao was also seen in the area and noticed that Tian Jian was also there. However, she felt his presence very familiar. The clan elders declare that new members of the clan must not act on their own as the area is very dangerous. Out of nowhere, a demon appeared from the lava of the area to eat them. The demon wants to eat everyone to be on par with the Four Great Youkai like Tu’e.

However, the seniors in the clan sat down to see how the juniors dealt with youkai. All the juniors attacked the demon together, except Tian Jian, who stood in the back. He said that the demon needed to be dealt a fatal blow. He then drew a sword and launched the Perfect Southern Dipper Aura at the demon, cutting it in half. The clan elder asked him if he was from the Oriental clan. Fang Hen Shao thinks that his swordsmanship is similar to Luo Zheng’s. The chapter ends with the seniors feeling that Tian Jian is hiding a secret.
