Kodoani.com – The second volume of Shueisha’s Young Jump Dai Ichiwa supplement magazine published the manga’s second chapter “Bugego” by ONE (One-Punch Man, Mob Psycho 100) and Kiyoto Shitara (Katagimodoshi) on Thursday with the seventh issue of Weekly Young Jump this year. The magazine notes that the manga is being adapted into a series period, but it is unclear whether Shueisha will continue to publish the manga only in irregularly published supplements.
The pair published the first chapter in the first volume of the Young Jump Dai Ichiwa supplement in April 2023. The supplement, whose title literally translates to “Young Jump Chapter One”, includes a a collection of “first chapters” for the manga they posted. The creators envisioned being serialized, and readers voted to decide which manga would actually be published in the main Weekly Young Jump magazine. “Bugego” did not enter that competition, but still featured the “first chapter” concept in the supplements. The second volume of Young Jump Dai Ichiwa also features a new series of “first chapters” for readers to vote on.
Author ONE launched the manga “Mob Psycho 100” on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday service in 2012 and then on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app in 2014. He ended the series in December 2017 with 16 volumes. . The manga adapted three anime seasons, with the third season premiering in October 2022.
“Bugego” is a new project from ONE and Kiyoto Shitara, and there seems to be interest from readers. With the success of ONE’s previous works like “One-Punch Man” and “Mob Psycho 100,” “Bugego” may become a notable manga in the near future.
