Manga about the lives of pet salesmen and office workers who own reptile pets launched in 2016
Kodoani.com – Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app just released the final chapter of the manga “Reptile Secrets” (Himitsu no Reptiles) by Gujira last Friday.
Comikey, which publishes the digital manga, described the story as follows:
“I am Nagara Naga, a proud employee of the Animale pet store, and I invite you to our third floor… to a world you have never seen before.” Iruka, an ordinary office worker, started a new adventure after accidentally stopping by a pet store. Here, he meets Nagara-san, a salesman passionate about reptiles. Under Nagara’s urging, Iruka opens up to the exciting life of a reptile keeper!
Gujira introduced the manga on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday manga website and on the Manga ONE app in 2016. As of May 2023, Shogakukan has published the manga’s 13th compiled book volume.
Previously, in 2015, Gujira also created the hen manga “Kogals, Sluts and Anything” (Gal toka Bitch toka Iroiro), published by WANIMAGAZINE. However, the series later ran into problems when copyrights were violated, and English adult comics website and publisher, FAKKU, acquired it in 2016. This happened after Gujira discovered that his manga had been illegally downloaded 25,000 times.
