Digital retailer e-hon that published its listing for the October issue of Shogakukan magazine Monthly Shonen Sunday (Gessan) listed that author Keiichi Arawi will launch a new manga titled Amemiya- san among these. The magazine published on September 10.
The official Gessan website has revealed that the October issue will launch a new manga “that everyday (“nichijō”) comedy master,” but it does not list a title or author.
Arawi created the CITY manga in Kodansha with Morning magazine in May 2016, and ended the series in February. Kodansha published the 13th and final volume on April 23. Vertical is publishing the manga in English.
Arawi previously drew the Nichijou and Helvetica Standard manga, and both Vertical manga were also released in English. Both inspired Kyoto Animation’s Nichijō television anime in 2011, based on the stories in both manga. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
