Sano passed away just 1 month after being diagnosed with cancer
Kodoani.com – The official Twitter account of Kadokawa’s Harta magazine revealed on Wednesday that the manga creator Nami Sano passed away on August 5 from cancer. Sano’s relatives held funerals on August 7 and 8. She is 36 years old.
The announcement notes that Sano passed away just a month after being diagnosed with cancer, and that she is in the planning stages of a new manga while battling the disease. Harta’s editors shared an excerpt from Sano’s last letter, which read: “This life ended with a happy life. Now I’m going to a freer world. Goodbye.”
