Manga based on Shigurui’s short story by Norio Nanjo launches on March 27
Kodoani.com – In the April issue of Comic Ran magazine, published by Bungeishunju on Tuesday, it was announced that author Shinzo Tomi will launch a new manga titled “Rendai o Katsugu Kenshi” (A Palanquin-Carrying Swordsman) in the magazine’s next issue, scheduled for release on March 27.
The late writer Norio Nanjo is credited as the author of this manga, which is based on an original work. The short story “Rendai o Katsugu Kenshi” appeared in Nanjo’s anthology “Kenshi Hiden” (Swordsman’s Mystery) in 1960.
The manga’s story focuses on the strange fate of a swordsman named Kyojiro Terashima.
