Kodoani.com – In issue #19 of Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior magazine, published on September 8, it was reported that author Shūzō Oshimi is planning a new manga. Although the magazine did not reveal further details about this project.
Recently, Oshimi completed the Welcome Back, Alice (Okaeri Alice) manga on August 9. The manga launched in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen magazine in April 2020. The manga’s final volume will be published on October 6.
Oshimi is best known for works such as the manga The Flowers of Evil, which was published in English and inspired an anime television series in 2013 along with a live-action film in September 2019. Additionally, his Inside Mari manga was also adapted into a live-action film series in March 2017. Oshimi also created the manga Drifting Net Café, which was adapted into a live-action series in 2009, and the Sweet Poolside manga inspired a live-action film in 2014.
In 2015, Oshimi launched the Happiness manga in Bessatsu Shōnen magazine and ended it in 2019.
