Kodoani.com – Frontier Works’ FW Comics announced the release of the manga’s final chapter “Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari: Girls Side Story” (The Rising of the Shield Hero) by Aya Hirosaki, this is a side story of Aneko Yusagi’s “Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari” (The Rising of the Shield Hero) light novel series. on September 1st.
The spinoff manga launched in August 2021. Frontier Works published the manga’s first compiled book volume in April 2022 and is slated to release the third volume on October 18. Piccoma service Kakao Japan also published the manga online.
The manga tells the story from the perspective of the character Raphtalia as she loses her family and friends while their village is destroyed in a “wave of disaster,” after which she meets the hero Naofumi Iwatani.
MF Books published the 22nd volume of Yusagi’s original novel series in June 2019.
Aiya Kyū launched a manga adaptation of the novel in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in 2014.
The “Rising of the Shield Hero” anime series premiered with a two-hour special in January 2019, followed by 25 episodes. The anime’s sequel premiered in April 2022, and the third is slated to premiere in October.
