With a score of 29.75 in 3 subjects of Literature, History, and Geography, the lovely Nguyen Huong Giang became the valedictorian of block C nationwide.
At the end of the high school exam in 2022, Nguyen Huong Giang won 10 History points, 10 Geography points and 9.75 points in Literature, which helped her become the national valedictorian of block C with a total score of 29.75.
The first comment when knowing about Huong Giang is that a female student is both pretty and good at studying. Previously, she was a student in grade 12 specializing in history, Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted (Bac Ninh Province).
This achievement made the online community very respectful because the C subjects that Giang took the exam for were considered very difficult to learn. Even Huong Giang herself was very surprised when she saw the score.
“After seeing the score, my emotions were very surprised and happy, I didn’t think I got such a high score,” Huong Giang excitedly recounted.
Sharing about how to review C-class subjects, known as “memorizing” subjects and too many words, Huong Giang said: “As a student majoring in History, I have practiced a lot of topics from grade 10 to grade 10. 12th grade, when the exam is near, just review the main topics and it’s fine.”
With Literature, like History, Huong Giang says “no” to memorization but must learn the essence of the problem, the work, master the main idea and know how to deploy the small ideas. Giang shared that she also reads a lot of books outside to gain more knowledge about literature.
When she received the news that she had obtained 9.75 Literature subjects, Huong Giang herself was also surprised:
“Actually, I thought I could only get about 9 in Literature because I didn’t write much, more than 3 pages, when I found out about 9.75 I was really surprised and happy,” Huong Giang recounted.
In addition to excellent results and grades, Nguyen Huong Giang is still an extremely energetic, modern and dynamic student, she is also a member of many other extracurricular clubs. When praised for being “multi-talented”, Huong Giang was very shy because she thought it was just her style and personal preference, joining the club is also for entertainment after stressful school hours, not to show off your talent.
It is known that joining the Club in parallel with going to school is also a way for Huong Giang to practice her ability to divide her time properly and plan for herself. Thanks to that, Giang always balances study and extracurricular activities.
For example, Huong Giang said that on weekdays, she only spends time going to the club in the afternoon after school is over, and in the evening, she will focus 100% on studying. Weekends can increase extracurricular play time more and reduce study time to relax the mind.
In addition, Giang shared, she has another hobby that is learning Chinese. Indeed, Giang was quite famous in school because she taught herself Chinese and achieved HSK4, and scored 9.8 points in Chinese also in the 2022 high school exam.
Explaining this “talent”, Huong Giang said that she had intended to study abroad in China, so she tried to self-study at home instead of studying at the center. Currently, due to the epidemic, Giang cannot study abroad, but her excellent foreign language skills will help Giang a lot in the future.
In the near future, Huong Giang intends to apply to Hanoi Law University or Diplomatic Academy. And yet, with 27 points in block D04, Giang also intends to try at Foreign Trade University. She also revealed that in the near future, she might study abroad in China or work and study in an environment with more Chinese to fulfill her long-standing dream.
